Hi everyone he yelled. Why are you looking so sad? The Sun is shining, and the birds are singing.. Come on cheer up..

Well, Jo said, we're supposed to learn everything about the universe, and go to an exam very soon.. But there is just so much to read, and we have to do work at home also, so we'll never manage to pass the exam..

Well cheer up, moon face said. A very exciting land is on it's way to the Faraway Tree. I guess it will be there by tomorrow.

Lets start up with a brand new story.. A new friend of mine - Georgina Hargreaves - the fantastic illustrator of I don�t know how many books, like the faraway tree��gave me a couple of illustrations.. I think one of them suits this next story very well.

So lets begin.

One day, Jo Bessie and Fanny came home from school, all very sulky. They had had lessons about the moon, stars, and the universe, which was very interesting to learn about, but there was so much to learn about, and they were going to have an exam in the subject within a few couple of weeks.

How are we ever to manage to read so much about this subject, and at the same time understand, said Bessie? We will never manage, Fanny said. We have too much work we need to help our mother and farther with, so there will hardly be any time to study.

As they were all standing talking, looking quite sulky, a persons was coming towards them, it was..

Hi Ashurii, and welcome. This sound really exciting.
My opinion to your question is that it will work very well as narrative. The reason for beliewing this is that a it makes the story calm and relaxed. People who are not familiar with the enchanted wood, will find it easier to follow along

Hello, everyone!

I was reading 'The Enchanted Wood' today, and I decided to write a screenplay for the book, just for something to do.
And I wanted other peoples opinions as to whether the story would work good as a narrative or not.
What do you think?

Hiya everyone! Well am Lovenah from Mauritius, and am twenty-one. Iv just discovered this forum, and I like it :-) 'Tis really great to know that someone was so fascinated by the faraway tree book series that they created this wonderful forum especially for the faraway tree.
