The land of Ice and snow is as one might have guesed a cold and deserted place. Here the snow is falling heavely and the wind blows so cold that it feels like ice. Living there is rather lonesome. The only living beings here are bears, well and an evil snowman.

This land is to be found in the books "the Enchanted Wood". Jo gets into a great fix when he is captured by the snowman. He is held as a slave and must do what ever the snowman commands him to. The Snowman is king or ruler of this place, or so he claims. He was build by some children in the past, but he ran away, because they started smashing him up with stones.

He came to the Land of Ice and Snow and crowned himself king of that place. How is Jo going to escape from this dreadful cold place, and the evil snowman? Well he will surely need the help from his friends.
